1984

This project recreates the book cover of 1984 by George Orwell, using key imagery from the novel such as the television, the eye, and symbols of surveillance to reflect its themes of control and observation. The design draws directly from the visual language of the book to communicate its oppressive atmosphere. Building on this concept, a second cover reimagines the world of 1984 as a society composed entirely of women, using the same imagery to explore the narrative from a new perspective.
